Ben only bought him so he could use "Semi" innuendo. It's a Timmah play if ever i've seen one.

Fuck me. I remember when Willia Tonga would have never passed that ball. And would have had the gas to score it too.

Minichiello's first hat-trick? He's fucking immortal, plays for a good team, has been drinking the blood of doped up leagues players for a hundred years, and he just scored his first hat-trick. That seems weird.

Dude, career strike rate of .45. I don't care which club, how many seasons, how many face-of-nrl campaigns (and injuries), I think he's lucky to be at almost 1 every second game...

3 tries to mini and 2 to Mitch aub is, quite frankly, unfair. However the Hipsters still well and truly in this one thanks to Maloney's 8

Hmm. Bench layers only scoring 1/2 points for pp's. I know you brought this up last week Ben but I didn't care then as it only applied to your team. Now that Widdop has been denied it's a travesty. Wha' happen'?

couldnt have happened to a nicer bloke - you not Widdop.

Still advantage Zooms methinks with Papalii injury and Graham, Heighington and Gordon vs no-one....

Was a bit nervous heading into this match with fifita, Fulton, Boyd and McQueen out. Happy with the way it panned out.

Really wishing I had some roosters players, did everyone score points apart from Jennings?

The entire hipsters back line bar Chambers have troubled the scorers this week, and he won't be kept quiet for long.

While I've been busy spewing my guts out, the Jaffas have been kicking the shit out of TOA (sure there's an iwi somewhere that would protest about white bread Grigor using that acronym).

Good to see. I expect a manic post from James talking about the end of his "unbeaten streak" of the past couple of years now...

I think even with a few injuries - the bye round shouldn't present too many problems. Sims and Paulo coming into some form and Big Red back from injury.

Nope. No rule changes once the season has started. Long standing precedent there boys.

Go cry to Vaughan about it Ricky.

Yeah I don't think rule changes mid-season are a good idea - it also stops people stockpiling fullbacks and halves which I think is a good thing.

It is clearly in the rules and wasn't even a change from last year according to nnrl (i think Sammy told me it was the same last year in our comp too). I can't remember though.

How about no changes to the rules from one season to the next with no discussion? Picked a team based on the status quo.

Yeah no rule changes once the season has started. There is an easy way to fix this, just start the people you think are going to get PP's....

I take it you haven't seen my fullback army? And Hayne playing 5/8 doesn't really help with Widdop on fire.

Decisive defeat, TOA management accept the lack of any centre or wing stepping up over the weekend. Good to see Ropati score but not good that your ring in and forward pack are the ones scoring tries... big changes needed at the TOA.

Good to see TOA finally linked to its maori translation. Took long enough and didn't think it would be sammy - pity this decision was made prior to the NZ Warriors dismal performance.

Oh please! 3 of your players weren't even selected by their clubs last week. You're lucky you got a way with just a small loss.

We're saving our big point scores for when we need them. Like this round, with a top o'the table clash.

No wonder Sipp's so happy we missed out on Vaughan.
